🎯 this really IS it. The senate & electoral college have allowed minority rule for a long time. Shit, even the House shld have more ppl, since the # hasn't changed in 100yrs or so & we've more ppl now than then. We've so many undemocratic systems in place & the minority will not cede control/power.

THIS I live in a neighborhood with a lot of seniors. My neighbor is this sweet old lady who gives my kids candy & baked goodies to celebrate the holidays (or sometimes just randomly.) I don’t want to price them out of their homes to go live in senior housing, sequestered away from society!

I don't think most Americans realize how hard tariffs are about to hit them. The combination of 1) escalating tariffs, 2) companies slowly passing the cost to consumers, and 3) the repeal of the de minimis exemption in the Big Beautiful Bill, a lot stuff will be more expensive in 2027.
