They took away Medicaid from my 82 year old mom. They don't answer the phone and when she showed up in person, they refused to talk to her and told her to go home and call them. She got her low income senior housing because she qualified for Medicaid.

4 months ago I sold my car to buy something bigger. And move my family up to Minnesota because I found a job here. Today took that vehicle in for an oil change and discovered the unibody has been rusted out. Thanks to TAC in North Branch for letting me know.

Hello Mtg community, I know several of you have been waiting for an update on my last post. I met with Alex Bertoncini after driving 6 hour round trip to another state in the amazing Darkside Games TCGs store in Vegas, whose owner agreed to open his shop early and lend us his free time in authenticating the cards. All of the cards were in fact real and legit, the problem was that it was not a 107k cube value as Alex advertised on the razz. It was over 30k short in value, this was due to Alex admitting he changed several of the cards during and after the razz without notifying contestants. I will not go into further details in this group, please don't message the admin of the razz group they are aware of the entire situation and were incredibly helpful throughout this process. Full complaint with the entire screenshot transcript between Alex and I will be uploaded on the mtg complaint page, I'm currently waiting to be approved to join the group. If you participated on the razz please reach out to me and I will share everything with you because it wasn't just me who he took from it was from everyone who participated

Lovecraft sent letters to Hitler and called him "a fine fellow". I Absolutely abhor Rowling. But I feel hobbies shouldn't be gate kept. Instead of lashing out at people for interacting with something. Have a discussion.

Definitely. Though for many people HP was their entrance into fantasy, and holds a place with them. I know a few personally that refuse to purchase anything Harry Potter related, but still interact with communities and fan creations because of that.

Very good point. My daughter was a huge fan of Harry Potter, we had a discussion about it. I directed her to other sources she might enjoy like Dresden, school of strange, d&d novels , etc. I still support the creation/reading of fan fiction, even if the source materials author is problematic.

Agreed. I really have no stake in HP stories. Fan fiction is an outlet for tons of people. Many authors find their start in short stories and fan fiction. For a majority of fans what will stick with them isn't JK's hateful rhetoric, but how other people have treated them. Especially inside hobbies.

Agreed. One day Rowling will die, and fans taking over the franchise I think would be for the best. Or Wizards of the coast could release stories in the Strixhaven universe. Hell hire a trans author for some of them to really grind Rowlings gears.

I disagree, taking ownership of the mythos is something fans should do. Look at HP Lovecraft and the Cthulhu mythos, many of the greatest contributions to it are not from HP himself. Who for the record was a horrible person himself.
