Here's #Toontown #VRChat 's last update for 2026! Polar Place got added, finally rounding out The Brrrgh. This street never got an official Spanish or German localization, so my friends Reivaxyn and Vee Is Still Here respectively provided brand new translations for the buildings here! Check 'em out!

Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door inadvertently depicts Peach as the quickest typist in the world. She is able to type up a 126-word email in exactly 3 seconds, making her 8 times faster than the current typing speed world record.

In Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, Peach sends multiple emails to Mario during the plot. Almost all of them take her exactly 3 seconds to type.
The length of the emails she types in 3 seconds varies from 54 words to the longest one seen below, at 126 words.
Peach: I'm OK
My Dearest Mario, I send this letter in the hope that it reaches you safely. I am being held against my will in some strange place. Though I do not know where I am, I remain unharmed and in relative comfort.
Those who have captured me seem to be after the map I sent to you earlier. They may be hoping to use it to find objects they call the "Crystal Stars." I do not know what they are planning, but I have a feeling it is not anything positive.
Mario, please collect these Crystal Stars before they do. You must! They are already aware that you have the map, so please be very careful.
And please... Don't worry about me.
-Princess Peach-
At the current world record typing speed of 319 words per minute, Peach should have been able to get about this far into the email.
In order to finish the email in three seconds, she needed to type with an a speed of 2520 words per minute, 7.9 times the world record.
While the quick typing is clearly merely a way to make the scene move along more quickly and should not be taken as accurate depiction of Peach's typing skills, it is still humorous to imagine the implications arising from it if taken at face value.

well the good thing is it's not like we live in the most car-brained society in the world and all our infrastructure wasn't built around driving and parking and everything is walkable and we have lots of efficient and dependable public transportation. at least there's that

just saw the namco museum museum vid, and i'm honored my vrchat worlds were used as a backdrop. i only recognized it because of the vol 3's door transitions, the 60fps animations, and ms pac's tv being set to safe mode funny to think that i wouldn't recognize my own work if not for those quirks lol

it's that time again, #Toontown #VRChat has been updated to add Walrus Way! i've also been redoing some older texture atlases for the sake of optimization, but you won't see any visual changes. just know that things are a bit tidier under the hood. also throw tomatoes at the blizzard wizard 🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅

Walrus Way from Toontown Online, but in VRChat

i’ll be honest, this anthrocon was the worst con experience i’ve had. i’ve had an unbelievably long string of bad luck this weekend, and i didn’t really feel that same spark i get from other cons. i’m willing to give it one more try next year. but if the suffering persists, maybe it’s not for me.

“You can do anything if you put your mind to it” is such a weird sentiment. What does it even mean? How do you “put your mind to” something? It’s my *brain*, it puts itself where it wants. The rest of me is just playing defense lol. Pic unrelated. Probably.

Looking for an escape from the summer heat? Look no further than The Brrrgh! Also known as Frescolandia, Le Glagla, O Brrrgh, Das Brrr, BrrrBrrrLand... ...it actually takes a lot of effort implementing all six languages. i hope y'all appreciate the effort #Toontown #VRChat vrchat.com/home/world/w...

Scenic shot of The Brrrgh from Toontown Online, ported to VRChat! From here, you can see the pond, the small hill of snow with a candycane flagpole, the pet shop, the party gate, and the igloo-themed Toon HQ. Also, the signage is in English.

A picture of Goofy's Gag Shop in The Brrrgh, which features a distinct cyan color, unlike the orange color found at all other gag shops. Also, the signage is in Japanese.

A picture of the Trolley Station and the tunnel to Walrus Way in The Brrrgh. A snowman with a shovel sits between the two. Also, the signage is in Portuguese.

The tunnel to Polar Place, which in German and Spanish, has wooden boards in place of the typical tunnel sign. This picture is of the German localization. Fun fact, Polar Place wasn't actually present in the German release of Toontown Online.

These two 2000 print ads were not intended to be placed together. If they are, they inadvertently seem to tell a grim story of a person who played Mario Golf as a solace from an unsuccessful love life, only to get addicted to the game and starve.

Left: print ad for Mario Golf on the GBC, showing the game and reading "No dates this year? No problem."
Right: print ad for the GBC showing Mario Golf being played by two skeleton hands, reading "Don't forget to eat."
