Steinem presented this memoir about 11 years ago in a church in Cambridge. The church was packed and the gathering felt like a giant consciousness-raising group straight out of the 70s. It was wonderful. She was wonderful. #GloriaSteinem

A fun and gratifying event today at the oldest public library in the US, in Franklin, Mass. as governor Maura Healey signed the Massachusetts Freedom to Read Bill. The speeches were all really good. And kudos to @authorsabb.bsky.social and @massaabb.bsky.social for years of hard work.
