Steinem presented this memoir about 11 years ago in a church in Cambridge. The church was packed and the gathering felt like a giant consciousness-raising group straight out of the 70s. It was wonderful. She was wonderful. #GloriaSteinem

I've been listening to the audiobook of Sarah Wynn-Williams' new Careless People, which she reads herself. It's a fascinating, sometimes funny account of the sloppy and unethical ways Facebook operated in the 2010s--and undoubtedly still does. If you're active on FB, it's worth reading. #Facebook

Noodles on a Bicycle, by @kyomaclear.bsky.social and Gracey Zhang, is irresistible. The Caldecott committee thought so too and gave it an Honor Award. Didn’t realize that towers of soba noodles travel on two wheels around Tokyo. I was reminded of the Dabbawallas of Mumbai. #kidlit
