Comparison is the thief of joy. Your words matter because they're yours. You can't compare them to someone else's. You don't know the ins and outs of someone else's process. Why they have time and space to write more or if they have a preexisting audience that engages with their work.

Don't feel discouraged by the number of kudos, comments or bookmarks. I know it's hard not to, i feel discouraged too sometimes, but remember that there are many gems with smaller audiences. It doesn't mean your fic is bad. You put effort in your works, you have fun and that's what matters
