Happy Anniversary, Star Trek! My mom was an original Trekkie, and the last movie I took her to was Star Trek Beyond. The entire franchise (but especially TOS and TNG) was and always shall be an important part of my life.

Update: I took that tiny pineapple top and cleaned it and put it in some water, and it instantly threw out some roots! So now it's in a pot on my new porch, and maybe in three or four years it will give us yet another tiny pineapple!

I've been quiet lately because I've been moving! Not far, just across the apartment complex and up a flight of stairs. It's smaller, but it has a fantastic view, a screened porch, and so much sunlight! But it was a lot of walking and hauling in the heat, so now I need a nap.
