I partially retract the retraction. I was inheriting from an Unreal class, then Epic deleted the copy constructor and = operator in a new version, and I did not properly reimplement them. What a massive pain in the ass that was.

I have to say I am saddened (but not at all surprised) by how few apps, services, etc provide non-PlayStore APK downloads, either directly or via FDroid or something. It is so easy to do (easier than deploying to the PlayStore) and important now that google is locking down the platform as a whole.

Feeling very accomplished: I am posting this to both Bluesky and Mastodon in a single post, on an open (degoogled) Android distro, on an open source phone which also has a Linux partition I can boot to instead.
