I wondered if I made a mistake not pursuing a technical degree, but I could pick up technical skills by self-study. Reading and writing are my best skills, but I think I would have, as Steve Dalton put it, ended up trying very hard just to me mediocre if I majored in something like CS.

I was at an art & tech conference recently and had several extremely fashionable people notice my terminal and compliment it. I've been using the terminal at events for 25+ years, this has never happened before. Which is great, the power of the CLI is for everyone now! Not just nerds.
