Frustratingly enough, unironically saying "MAGA Inc." in an official capacity is the most American thing to say in the modern era. I don't mean that as a good thing. That's just where we are at the moment...

Amazing. Love that the automaton is utilized for its sheer size and shape as both an obstacle and a traversable setting, in a way, allowing for a rather dynamic set piece.

The Disney renaissance movies used to look different. They were planned to be printed on 35 mm film -- that's how they were first released. Modern editions skip that last step in the process. It was a highly developed, overlooked craft, as we explore: animationobsessive.substack.com/p/disneys-fi...

Singing along in the car to practice different vocal styles and this round I decided to sing through one of my old faves, Stabbing Westward. Christopher Hall has an underrated dynamic quality that I'm surprised was overlooked as an influence during the later generations of emotive singers.

It's one of those things where, depending on the context, the tone can swing wildly. Voiceover on black & white stock footage of a burning building? Terrifying. Reciting it the same exact way on Conan O'Brien Needs A Friend? Hilarious.

Why do people get angry when you tell them to torrent things? 98% of ALL media that has EVER been produced isn't going to be on some streaming service. Do you guys not want things bad enough? I get the same reaction when I say "Go to the Library". I think people are just lazy.
