B'runi Masna-Nunh — In Mentor Hell 👑 @ver-caster.etheirys.social · 29/09/2026

One thing that I had fun with in this story was having Koana and B'runi talk about their mutual asexuality without actually calling it that. And while normally I think the term "attraction" can be a bit too modern to use, it's because of that that it felt like a VERY good word for Koana to use.

Koana's nose wrinkled a bit at the reminder and shook his head. "Ah yes, I had forgotten," he said. "I am grateful that my position at leadership comes without such obligations. I do not envy them in that aspect."

B'runi tilted her head ever so slightly, eyebrows raised at his remark. "Is that so?" she asked quizzically.

"One needs to bear some attraction to others in order to perform that duty well, I presume," Koana answered. "I experimented in Sharlayan but found I had no desires for it."

"Ahh." B'runi rested a hand on her knee and swished her tail back and forth, the tip curling happily. "You are in like company then."

I’ve toyed with the idea of Shale repurposing a regulator to draw in minute amounts of ambient aether to help Calu’to with basic everyday spellcasting like teleport but jury’s still out whether he’d be open to using one. He absolutely would not if he still had to wear it on his head, or all the time

E’rahez can use them all freely but usually doesn’t bc Calu’to can’t. Calu’to is aether deficient and aetheryte travel drains him terribly. He still attunes wherever he goes in case of emergency—someone can either cast teleport on him or give him some aether, but that tends to drain the caster.

In case this is helpful for anyone else, I tried to get a list together of all the limited time events that are running (or about to run) in FFXIV right now. Jeez, that's a lot. 😵‍💫

Kit (B'alith):

I think this is the sequencing of what's currently running or about to run:
Yo-kai Watch: Aug 4 - Oct 5
Mogtomes: Sep 9 - Oct 19
FF15 crossover: Sep 24 - Oct 13
Fall Guys: Oct 7 - Oct 27
(and then somewhere in there will be All Saints' Wake, too)

E’rahez would echo-blast them all with his memories now that he can control it (his echo power is projection) to prove he’s the true WoL for HIS timeline and then help them fix theirs and recruit them to help him get home. The hardest part is that with no E’rahez, Calu’to isn’t a scion :)

Rahez in Sandrock is interesting bc he’s everything E’rahez could’ve been if he’d had parental support. Both versions of the character are forced to leave home for reasons outside their control & varying degrees of combat+crafting, but Rahez had a very clear life plan from the jump. See below :3

Here’s the most incredible story you’ll read today. A small plane with four people aboard crashes in a field. Another pilot witnesses it. That pilot happens to be flying a bunch of skydivers. They offer to jump to assist, are given permission. The skydivers happen to be EMTs. Everyone survives.

Skydivers alert emergency crews, assist after plane crashes near East Troy airport

Four people were aboard the single-engine plane when it went down in a cornfield near Carvers School Road in East Troy at about 1:30 p.m.

i like how its all paid modders (blxss, lye, solona) using and defending genai in workflow bc it's "easier". it is because they see modding as a method of making money off the community that they're willing to overlook the environmental, social, ethical issues they KNOW are true about genai.

Was going to make a comic about a funny ADHD situation but you know what, it wasn't funny and I cried because I'm just so exhausted before the day even starts (I have a book linktr.ee/adhdalien/)

Kiki is standing in a messy kitchen with a plunger in one hand and a stuffed crocodile in the other. She looks deflated, saying "Why did I come to the kitchen with a plunger and a croc- no you know what I don't care."

Kiki is drawn in a more detailed, black and white style, looking pretty rough and tired. Text says "ADHD isn't funny and I'm an adult and I just want to get things done. I'm tired."
