VHIL suggests "30 minutes" for VR sessions. Robby Ratan & colleagues tested it. 30 participants met regularly over 3 months. Duration had an inverted U-shaped relationship with peer social presence. Many peaks are in the 30 minute range but varied by participant. vhil.stanford.edu/publications...

2.5 lies per minute seemed high to me, so I asked a friend who is a deception expert how this compares to other data. Apparently, research on this topic tends to find that people lie 1-2 times *per day* so this rate is...high. More here: "Lying in everyday life" psycnet.apa.org/record/1996-...
