I've thoroughly enjoyed volunteering with Restoration Forth, it's been so much fun. Here's hoping we get many more oyster larvae!

We were lucky enough to get places on @seabirdcentre.bsky.social SOS Puffin trip to Craigleith today. Very satisfying to cut down the mallow knowing that it will help access to burrows next year for the puffins.

Out with @wolct.bsky.social this morning in the Murrayburn/Longstone area. The strong breeze made litter picking a little more difficult. Two full bags collected whilst other volunteers planted trees.

What a lovely read this is, leaving me with plenty to think about. This came to my attention thanks to @david-farrier.bsky.social but it took a while to get it from the library, which is very apt!

I've often wondered if developers get charged for the exclusive use of pavements/carriageways, does anyone know?

Fascinating tour of the conservation studios at National Gallery of Scotland Modern One. The only complaint is that we could have done with more time.

A very breezy morning in Holyrood Park cutting back gorse with the Ranger Service. Would have been nice to have been working in the sunshine but an enjoyable session nevertheless.

It's the hypocrisy of the Lib Dems that gets me. Just think about the cost of this work and yet there's no money to repair/replace the bridge in St Mark's Park!
