I think what would help me is a palette app or something that would allow me to pick a couple colors and then suggest colors to go with them. Anyone have something like that, for a cartoonist that’s been thinking in black and white for decades?

Today I’m just grateful that I have the energy to put my studio back together. My cough has been so violent that I’ve been sleeping on my foldout couch, which requires a whole sliding-tiles puzzle to open out. Things are better.

I really don’t like hot drinks. I have a nasty cough, and all the fancy tea is definitely helping… but my tongue is burned in several spots because I’m not used to it. All the throat lozenges have added chemical burns. My tongue feels like the cat’s been chewing on it. 😩

The Pope reminds me of a version of Catholicism I knew growing up as a young man attending anti-war and anti-death penalty protests, where I met elderly Catholics who shared their version of faith with me. I learned that Catholicism was about love and mercy for the weak, the condemned, and the poor.

It’s just not very ADHD-friendly. Aggravating thing is, I really like the doctor, but I told her straight up, this has been happening for years, this is why I gave up taking my meds in the past. Has she fixed it? She has not.
