Govts routinely talk about easing cost-of-living crisis. No party has any plan. Crisis due to low wages, profiteering by utilities and oligopolies dominating the market. Govts don't push for higher wages, break-up big conglomerates, control price of essentials, embrace progressive taxation.

We need to abolish state-sanctioned poverty
No one is ever born poor. They are condemned to poverty by societal policies which prevent millions from realising their full physical, mental, and intellectual capacities potentialities.

Opposing liberal-progressive ideology, requires some evidence in favour of illiberal-regressive alternatives in order to be useful.

UK Govt & NHS should be using the power of their market demand to reduce costs rather than boost profits of suppliers, especially when suppliers are non-UK and reducing economic circulation for UK.

Follow the money. Underfunded services & support. Neglected infrastructure. Cost of living increases vs. ever increasing wealth of richest, that enables avoidance of tax & democratic accountability. Private Equity requires our attention more than welfare users or foreign born people.

Main rate of UK Corporation Tax cut from 52% in 1983 to 19% in 2017-23, now 25%. They told us cuts would increase investment and wages. For the last 30 yrs UK has been at or near the bottom of the OECD league for investment. Real average wage unchanged since 2008. Capital and execs benefited.

We probably shouldn't vote to cut public spending & revenue, while national income is directed towards 'wealth creators'; Promised prosperity, but losses to offshore corporations & individuals. Economically inefficient wealth redistribution. 'Job creator' roles are replaceable.

Labour take the blame for crises that stem from the results of right wing ideology, but answer through appeasement & mitigation, rather than commitment to & justification for, policies that tackle the causes. Voters need to urgently understand & signal support for policies that tackle the crises.

The only way that Labour can win the next election, is not through anti-opposition votes, but via reasoned, evidenced, convincing, persistent debate that justifies an holistic set of policies to tackle wealth inequality & sustainability. Now.

2025, UK reservoirs low & #water companies failing to invest in infrastructure as demand has grown. #AI data centres may be given priority for huge demand for water to cool processors. Only joining 2 dots to see the threat. A threat that we are subsidising.

Reform UK cut & paste Trump Administration policies. RefUK & Tories to introduce an ICE equivalent? Extreme wealth inequality is their motivation & general public's source of suffering. Difficult to get the warnings through to the 30+% who support RefUK. In the meantime... Climate change.

Reform UK copy USA Republican policies. How far would they go? This health policy is too far. Prime example of public suffering for private wealth accumulation. Extreme wealth inequality is our problem, denying circulation of national income would flow through our pockets & our public services.

2. There’s a basic metric by which you can tell who in politics are your allies and who are your enemies: whether they support or oppose the extreme concentration of wealth. Those who support it (let’s call them Group 1) are the political right. Those who oppose it (Group 2) are the political left.

Austerity, Brexit & high wealth inequality deny choice to politicians who prioritise the public good. Left with deciding which asset to sell or environment to degrade for revenue; Leading to political loss, as voters reward alternative candidates, who may value wealth over public good. Solutions?

The strongest motive seems to be a pro-Israel default, with a fear of being seen as anti-Semitic. A continuing lack of acknowledgement of the distinction between religion & State, in both support & criticism. Consequently, Muslims are part of those opposing or being victims of State actions.

I hope you're not turning right-wing, but the worrying aspect is, that people support principles like public ownership of essential utilities & services, but use a vote to protest/support parties that are ideoligally opposed. So KS being worse than Tory PMs feeds into that.

The politics of Jenrick, Farage and Tommy Robinson will guarantee national decline. Even if we imposed all the most vicious, hostile, and arbitrary policies they want, our towns and villages will still suffer until we fund local public services rather than corporate tax breaks.

That resembles reasoning that possibly contributes to group-think leading to election of worse choices, e.g.Trump versions. Holistic view needs considering by most before voting. Plenty to criticise KS for; Labour trying to appease instead of justify principles? But others aim to profit from damage.

Most voters fear threats of low growth & non maximisation of profits regardless of cost to others, more than loss of universal benefits from a State acting directly in our interests. On trust of authority. Trust & quality degrading, taking social cohesion & democracy with them. Educate & question.

Another boost for profiteers who lack innovation, at expense to society. Increasing inequality, which exacerbates multiple crises. Govt should tax excessive wealth (to discourage harmful activity & support universal services) & regulate for sustainable conditions for everyone (inc. the wealthy).
