Last week I spoke at the retirement celebration for my dear friend and co-author, Gernot Grabher, at HavenCity University in Hamburg where he was a former dean. It was a wonderfully moving event celebrating the enormous contributions of the most creative social geographer working anywhere.

In a bittersweet alignment of timing, the latest issue of Sociologica is entirely dedicated to exploring and discussing Ginzburg’s profound intellectual legacy. Crucially, this issue features what is likely Ginzburg’s final interview focusing on his scientific and cultural trajectory. (2/3)
