I think these statistics are quite misleading. If you think about the kind of person who studies Economics at Cambridge, they are likely privileged and highly intelligent and would likely find a well earning job without that degree. Whereas people doing arts degrees are likely artists and... (2/?)

"All models are wrong, but some are useful" (George Box) There exists no statistical model, "AI" or otherwise, that is 100% correct, they are only ever an estimation. Any "positive hit" like this MUST be checked by actual humans. Innocent until proven guilty, and any model, AI or not, is not proof.

Agreed, I'm not saying it's useless, I've used Claude myself, but I try to use it sparingly due to the environmental damage. But people act like its a super intelligent thing that can be used for everything. It needs to be controlled and used responsibly.
