Woke up needing to write about the difference between the intelligence of wholeness vs. the intelligence of the ego. And sseing that ego (sense of separate self) developed my very ability to be able to contemplate all of this & how my whole life has been about how to allow the two to co-create.

There's a woman I've seen again this week walking around wearing a witch hat. I first saw her working at the library around last Halloween. But she kept wearing the hat well into the new year, which made me wonder. I saw her in a bar once and we spoke briefly. I pretended not to notice the hat.

Thinking about my old pal Mark Saunders on his memorial bench overlooking the lake. He lived just around the corner from this park. Every year he would be out there, at the 15k mark of The Lake Monona 20k, offering beer. He was a Hash House Harrier. Drinkers with a running problem.
