BDO will go down with them. Filing fraudulent accounts is a criminal offence, so directors could face jail. And if the accounts are fraudulently mis-stated HMRC will be all over this and likely extend their investigation to "salary and other payments" to players and staff. MCFC could be finished!

An underpriced scenario for German politics is that consolidation of resistance against the AfD coupled with splits and unreliability against it within the CDU push more Centrist voters to Greens and Linke, generating chances of far more Left wing governments on Land and national levels than before

90 years ago, Parliament responded to the rise of Oswald Mosley's Blackshirts by passing the Public Order Act, which banned political uniforms, private militias and the threat of force for political objects. The debates make very resonant reading today. Here's the Liberal Robert Bernays. (Short 🧵)
You cannot conduct a fair match when one side is playing with a ball and the other with bombs and, if democracy is to survive, it must be conducted according to definite and recognised rule. One of them is that no political party should resort to any weapon other than reason and argument. The introduction of private armies, as I see it, strikes at the root of democracy. I know it is contended that the Blackshirts are not armed and, therefore, are not an army, but I do not think that argument can be upheld. … Uniformed men in military formation suggest, and are meant to suggest, the idea of force. It is no argument to reply that at this or that demonstration no force is intended. It is an inescapable fact that a uniform in politics symbolises force, to be used either now or in the future.

Lol the United States was the only country of 165 which voted "no" to adopting an accurate map instead of the distorted Mercator projection. I'm guessing it was 30% inspired by an imperialist desire to keep Greenland looking big and 70% a racist desire to keep Africa small.

As Kemi praised Italy for having lower interest rates than Britain, here’s some useful proposal: Currently, here’s the 10 year bonds costs: UK: 5.27% Italy: 4.22% France: 4.20% Now, if U.K. joins the €, we can bring it down to French / Italian levels and therefore saving £30 billion per year.
