We had a helluva time tracking Initiative on Roll20 with those cards. I think we ended up just rolling and the GM kept track haha.

Look, everyone should be watching the original on BritBox (or BBC if you're in the UK.) And this could end up being dreadful. But it could also be good? And it's exactly the kind of show ABC and CBS should be doing more of. Fingers crossed www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-news/a...

I have been excited in the past. I’m familiar with the sensation… but how to explain the buzz im feeling after a 25 year journey to get it made, to finally… FINALLY bring ROGUE TROOPER HOME! Hard to express really. See you at the premiere at the LFF tomorrow night, LONDON! ❤️🇬🇧❤️

I heard someone say that that moment was when the floodgate of Ellen stories started. Like her fall was entirely because of Dakota Johnson.

So, I'm told that (in addition to the book 4 draft, which is almost done) we need more sales data for 10 Things I Hate About Zombies before book 5 can be a goer. If you've got a spare dollar and you like the sound of a zombie romcom, now's a good time to grab a copy!

Oh that sucks! That happened to me with actually two of my back teeth. And then when we're at the oral surgeon for my son's wisdom teeth consult, he explains that even if wisdom teeth come in, if they're not aligned right they pressure the tooth in front and both break up. I'm like: "Ohhh...!"

My daughter said that the other day when we were at Sam's Club. The Halloween section was gone (it was actually pushed back-but smaller than it was) and Christmas was in its place. We're like: it's September 29th people!

#Scriptsky Format question: I may put a POV shot of these guys being watched from a distance 'From Deeper in the Forest' maybe. What's a good way to do that with minimal lines? I want the magazines reveal to stay on the page.

A section of a page from the script GEMINI.

The text reads:

INTO THE CLEARING

They dash up to the drum, and jump off their bikes. They use an old blanket to bat down the fire.

BOY #1
Put it out. Put it out!

Boy #3 looks off in the distance: sees tail lights receding as an old style muscle car RUMBLES away.

They plop their booty to the ground. Boy #1 takes the burnt crisp from the top of the pile to reveal...

A massive stack of old pornographic magazines.

😂I can imagine that moment of horror, thinking: did someone sniff the air and be like "Oh yeah that's Erica"?

See I love that: that's what a list like this is great for. Everyone knows Nightmare at 20,000 Feet is awesome, but what are the deep tracks that don't get the recognition?

000

Dave Mueller @dave-mueller.bsky.social · 17h

I've been on the other end of that too: where I look something up because I'm like 'that couldn't possibly be what they're--oh, huh...!'

Their Sweet Jane cover! I didn't even think of that one. That's one of my favorite songs period!

That entire soundtrack by The Pillows is just incredible. There are certain soundtracks that are more than just the music of the piece, they're a part of it's DNA. That's how the songs are in FLCL.

When I was doing my Z Gundam rewatch, I would cue this up on my phone, and play it through the speaker while leaving the Crunchyroll muted, and then unmute it when the song ended.

What I love about all the Cutey Honey reboots is that they know-like Yamato-they need to use this song. They're never going to outdo it, so just give the audience what it wants.

I wish I could find it: there was a post after the trailer dropped, captioned with 'Edward when he sees Jacob trying to imprint on Renesmee' and it's the part where he goes "You know how this looks, right...?" It was so damn funny.

I think stuff like that is cool because it makes me wonder: when did the 'bends' become common knowledge? Growing up in the 80s I heard about it in media all the time. Would a kid in 1954 know that?
