This is also somewhat misleading. You can generate investment “losses” on paper fairly easily to offset actual gains. You’d have to go *much* deeper to unravel all of the ins and outs to assess where/why the tax code falls short for investments. More than a social media post I’d imagine.

We'll get behind voter ID when every citizen gets a free federal ID that is provided at post offices that are sufficiently staffed to prevent long waits (read: inefficiently, because efficiency = inaccessibility), but they would never agree to that because the only goal is fewer voters

I'm torn on Mitch. I don't think the Knicks lose that much at the end of the day, depending on who they find to soak up the backup C minutes. That big of a deal with all of the restrictions that were imposed due to health concerns is a little rich for a somewhat limited backup.
