The NYT reporter who did the Alaska hit piece did a long sympathetic story on rural white Republicans facing California Dems’ new House map. It barely mentions the many more new GOP gerrymanders—mostly targeting Black & Latino Dems—at the end. Many other examples, like this sexist portrayal of AOC

The US periodically murders, without trial, people in boats that it has deemed to be involved in drug smuggling. Again: this is murder, plain and simple. There is no law, national or international, that can even pretend to justify it. The US has simply claimed the right to murder whoever it wants.

Saw one of the GOP ads about how “hateful” liberals are last night, and am trying to reconcile this with the party who are fine with racist attacks on brown people in our streets, raping women and children, and don’t believe my kids should be allowed to exist.
