Despite Trump’s commitment to fossil fuels, the repeal of the IRA is leaving fossil fuel dependent communities behind. Coal is not coming back. And solar and wind - again despite Trump’s efforts - continue to grow. But green jobs will not automatically replace coal or oil jobs in the same areas. 1/2

I just spent one month in South Korea. General polls show this split attitude. But on questions of expanding nuclear power, beyond the 4 or 5 that have been planned, unplanned, and planned again, I did not see evidence of any province interested in accepting new nuclear power, even SMR.

This is a quite inaccurate description of what is happening in Korea. Definitely no "pivot" to nuclear. Really more of a slow motion battle back and forth between administrations. There is little support for nuclear expansion within Korea, aside from the lame-duck president.
