Maybe, I don't know that it would really be much of a difficulty, but I could be wrong.

I've noticed a number of people saying the iPhone Duo doesn't have a left handed mode. Wouldn't you just turn it upside down? My assumption would be that when the curved corners are on the left, the controls stay on that side. And Apple kept talking about it supporting all orientations.

Somewhat interesting, less of a weight difference when going from the iPhone 17 Pro Max to the iPhone Duo (231→254g) vs the 17 Pro to Pro Max (204→231g). So a 23g difference vs a 27g difference.

I’m proud of my time at 1Password, I’d love to see them return to working on and endorsing causes that would make me feel that pride today. I know well the legacy of kindness and compassion the company was built on and that I worked hard to contribute to and show every day.

I know so many amazing people that are still there, and I know you are raising significant concerns with this internally. Please keep it up! Whoever pushed for this needs to know that it doesn’t fit with all of your values, and the values of the company that I knew throughout its long history.

I took a photo of the fence on our wedding day 4+ years ago, and yesterday Block Club Chicago posted about the local community laying flowers and candles alongside the mural in mourning. Such a beautiful tribute to a beautiful person. blockclubchicago.org/2026/08/...

A solid metal front fence of a business with a monochrome mural of a young Dolly Parton’s face on the left and almost entirely covered by green ivy on the rest of the fence.

My wife and I got married at a small place here in Chicago called the Lytle House that is best known for its Dolly mural on the front of it. They run an art initiative focused on public art as well, of which of course this was a part. It still makes me smile every time I drive past it.

Just in case you still use any Basecamp products, DHH is crashing out about his AI product gently pointing out that it’s bad for him to have extermination fantasies about the Roma people.

DHH tweet saying “This is why we need competition and open weights in Al. Imagine a world where only Anthropic sat as the moral arbiter of acceptable speech. Fucking ridiculous. (Grok of course did it no problem, same too with Kimi K).” when presented with his blog post using a slur about the Roma people.

Anyone have a favorite rounded sans-serif that has a bit of quirk to it? I like Kit Rounded quite a bit (in the screenshot) but it's licensing is not great for me. Preferably variable, with a chunky/bubbly bold/black weight, and a simpler licensing model for web and app use. Not too cartoonish.
