It's quite a reality check to get diagnosed with a hip injury by your physio, then you go home and google the name of the condition to find it's "most common in women 40-60 years old" and in the examples of exercises to help it, are all elderly grey haired men. Rude.

Sunday long run day and fuuuuuck it sucked. Huge hip pain at 11k, hit a brick wall at 12k but we got it done. Half Marathon in October and I'm still shitting my pants about it. A lovely Asian brothel madam waved and said hello to me as I ran past her so that was nice of her lol

I've also currently in the best shape almost of my life. I've lost a shitload of weight, I no longer need a bunch of medications that I've been on, chucked out the CPAP machine and generally look and feel better. Who knew regular exercise, good sleep and not eating shitty food was good for you?
