It was a super event, great to see many working Domesday systems, meet and hear from those involved in the original project and those working to preserve it and keep it alive and accessible. I found the article I contributed while at www.stowford.devon.sch.uk and also sneaked out my Domesday clock.

This takes me back! Recording of when I was on the TV show Bad Influence, I was 22 at the time. Includes footage of the original Total Wormage, which was the version of the game I entered into the Amiga Format competition and later showed Team17. youtu.be/3xmIUPStiuU?...

I’m in a game! Well a very early demonstration of one I’ll be in anyway. Saki Endo’s Ghost House will be a fun arcade style score attack game borrowing liberally from the classics, endlessly playable with secrets and scoring techniques, boss fights and the cheesiest story this side of Cheddar Gorge.

Great first visit to The Cave. Meant to go for some time. Hermann Hauser’s visit finally got me there. I was really impressed with the Cave, its friendly team and Hermann gave an entertaining and engaging talk and was a delight to talk to. How tickled he was with my mini Beeb models made my day. ☺️

So it'll be the 50th episode of the Rubbish Heap. I have been toying for quite a long time now transforming the Rubbish Heap into print, no big fonts, or blown up screenshots, no coffee table required. A hand drawn punk-zine vibe, raw direct reviews, info from Japan translated by myself. Thoughts?
A very rough concept of how the Rubbish Heap could look in print. It's meant to be rough and raw, but I think if it was seriously worked on it would be a little bit better drawn in places! P.s. Millennium is spelt wrong cos reasons.

And yes, a pro tip from the lads dredging the Chesterfield Canal in 1978: if you find a chain at the bottom of a canal, under no circumstances should you keep pulling it to see what's on the other end
A long-haired bloke with an amused expression on a canal maintenance barge and holding up a MASSIVE plug on the end of a chain. It literally looks like an outsized version of the one in your kitchen sink. Behind him is a canal devoid of water. These two things are linked in the obvious way...

BBC Micro Galaforce running on the tiniest BBC Micro and monitor I've ever seen! For reference, that's an Amiga mouse to the left and to the right is the corner of a full-size BBC Micro. I saw this at the recent 'ABug North' event in Manchester.
