Especially now. I had one experience out of the thousands of doors I knocked in 2022-23 in Ozaukee, WI where I ran into an older man who had been a lifelong Dem (he and his wife even held parties at their house) who flipped because of this issue. That's it. If they switched, they already did so.

Tiffany has been running ads unopposed for months now (pretty much since January between TV and streaming). Most Dems only went up on TV within the past week or two, with Fran just going up now. It will be a race for Fran to define herself before Tiffany/GOP does it for her like Mandela 2022.

I wouldn't read much into the head-to-head findings at this point. As I suspected would be the case, the lack of name ID among the field renders those results pretty much useless at this point. Tiffany is at 71% name ID. Mandela is at 60%. Fran is at only 45%. Sara was at 35%. Rest 21% or less.
