Way hay - let’s all celebrate!!!!! Such an advancement for MAN-kind!
Isn't it brilliant that one man gets to be a trillionaire instead of everyone having food

Cannot help but feel agrieved at this tbh, the govt refused to give people with disabilities a €400 emergency payment, even prior to attacks on Iran, where disabled persons groups outlined disabled ppl were choosing between heating and eating. #Spéirgorm #speirgorm

Really struck by this BBC article outlining how Gen Zs choice to drink less is harming the profits of a company worth billions. The solution, RAMP UP THE ADVERTISING. Corporate profit seeking was always prioritised over human health but in the Trump era, everyone says the quiet part out loud.

The reason I'm concerned about Maria Steen being on the ballot isn't that she will win (she won't). My worry is that if she is nominated, it will mean a month of national airtime for a hate campaign against vulnerable groups, carried by a media too scared of being sued to call it what it is

Putin says Trump must go further before he’ll even agree to meet. Putin is entirely in the driving seat. The US has alienated its own allies, given Russia nearly all of what it wanted, bought Putin’s warped view of reality, and can’t even guarantee a meeting. The art of the deal, indeed.

This is why the media gives people like Donald Trump such an easy ride and people like Keir Starmer such a hard one iandunt.substack.com/p/journalism...
A clip from the article. It reads: "Many journalists are instinctively hostile to Starmer and Biden not so much out of political opposition, but because they're bad for business. And they love Boris Johnson and Trump not so much because they agree with them, but because they’re good for business. They provide more content. More fuel for the news engine."
