I just drove by 2 ICE vehicles with about 7 officers who had pulled over a guy alone in a car on the freeway in the middle of rush hour traffic. Fully armed, bullet proof vests, etc. Seeing it in person made me even more mad.

Google finally updated some of its satellite images of Gaza and my god, it's horrific. The entirety of Rafah has been demolished. The majority of Khan Younis is in ruins. Entire towns completely leveled and erased of the map.

I just aerated, reseeded, and top-dressed my lawn with compost. (Growing grass on top of glacial till is not a great idea so it needs lots of amendment - choices made before I owned the place.) While the aeration holes were exposed I took the opportunity to plant about 120 crocuses. ✨🌱✨

Of course my cat decided that freshly raked compost makes a great resting spot.

I have had sooo many clients who want to do a renovation/addition where I start out conservatively and they say, “no! Bigger!” When I ask about budget, they don’t believe the numbers I give them. So, I design bigger. It takes forever to permit because it’s big & therefore complex. 1/

Having the best texting convo w/my college kid about this. He was OBSESSED w/presidents as a kid so he has a lot to say. And the more we look at it, the more presidents we notice he forgot. It’s so sad to me to have a president that doesn’t even know the history of his own position!
