For my understanding of this report the system seems correct? I don't see why an industry's high utilization of the unemployment system should not be paired with high UI taxes. Is the suggested solution here to spread the taxes to more stable industries?

I dated a RE photographer who would do digital staging in post using traditional photo editing tools. She was given a very specific set of rules to prevent anything from being adjusted to the point of misrepresentation. All of that seems to have been thrown out in the AI era.

It is not, 33 mins vs 20 mins. It's also longer because most of the driving route is a 50mph no shoulder rural road I avoid. BUT the bike route takes me through the forest/river delta which is beautiful.

I never used to bike anywhere, got an e-bike on a whim. Eliminated all my in-town car trips almost immediately. Even started biking to work (13 miles each way). E-bikes replace cars, not bikes.

The debt situation Republicans have created is going to be a generational problem. You can't sustain a >100% debt to GDP ratio at 5% interest rates. The hole only gets deeper and rates only get higher as skepticism in your ability to pay rises.

There are two data centers being built in El Paso right now. One posted a billboard truck outside the other offering ironworkers $10/hr more and a sign on bonus if they came and worked at the other site. Non-union city but the wage premium is wild.
