BC , Canada, and the 5 First Nations of the Te’mexw Treaty Association (TTA)are in the final stages of treaty negotiations. If fully ratified, treaties will be implemented with Beecher Bay (SC’IȺNEW̱), Malahat, Snaw-naw-as (Nanoose), Songhees and T’Sou-ke Nations.

Visited the Victoria Hand Project with engineer Kim Arklie. Their volunteer‑driven, donation‑funded work provides prosthetics to Ukrainian land‑mine survivors, helping restore independence and dignity amid an urgent humanitarian need.

🚨Highway 14 Closure Update 🚨 at Loss Creek (west of Jordan River) and Parkinson Hill (Port Renfrew) due to trees falling onto hydro wires caused by saturated ground, snow, and strong winds. BC Hydro crews are now arriving on site, along with maintenance contractor. Stay safe and plan accordingly.
