One of the disappointing (and racist?) comments I used to get when the Greek financial crisis was on the global news was that Greeks are lazy..The government is corrupted but people work very hard and get paid very little..Thus, some hundreds of thousands of us have migrated abroad

It's not only the dolphins and broader marine life that are astonishing in Shark Bay, but also the sky, which was full of shooting stars yesterday. Just a few meters from the research station, right on the beach in front of us! I am here for my third field season and I feel very lucky 🙏🐬

In our new TREE paper, with M. Borgerhoff Mulder, S. Brosnan and E. Strauss we show that power in animal societies can be subject to control. When high-powered individuals use aggression to gain better access to resources, other group members can respond with "levelling". doi.org/10.1016/j.tr...
