Loved this review of @davidmbarnett.bsky.social’s final Withered Hill story, but especially the definition of folk horror, “You do the thing because the thing is done, and the reason went missing a long time ago. Folk horror lives in that gap. It asks what happens when the reason comes back.” 👍🏻

Aicomics reddit is fascinating. Here are people who have swapped the joy of trying to draw for the trudgery of trying to get a machine to stay on track. Spreadsheets and character sheets and prompts optimising all come before story and certainly art isnt in the mix at all.
