Facing baseless federal hunger brought on by not eating since lunch, fighting for the working kids of this country, and now caring for a mean toddler and helping him grow up in a world that isn't always easy. But it has also reminded me exactly why I do this work and who I do it for.
I will never stop working to eat dinner. I will never stop fighting for what is right, even when there is also some feta in the fridge. And I will never stop being so very thankful that you are by my side in this important work and that there is tahini in the pantry for dressing

I had recurring nightmares of Pennywise for years, until a series of 3 where I beat him. I was good for years and then had one like he was testing if he could come back. I was like "Nope, we did this, I'm good" and I stg he got grumpy about it and went away. My brain, man.

We didn't watch scary movies at home. Around eleven I saw the 90s IT at a friend's house and at one point somebody looked at me and goes, "You're actually shaking!" Not even mocking, just like 'whoa, people really do that" I rode my bike home as far from every sewer grate as I could get.
