CDC sent me the 2025 NHIS data this week, and one number stuck with me. 8.7 million American adults were living with Long COVID in 2025. That's 1 in 30 of us. It's easy to stop seeing a crisis once it stops being new. It's still happening. www.cdc.gov/nchs/nhis/do...

It's heartbreaking watching them.

www.sbs.com.au/news/article... Not only does Australia not get updated vaccines in good time, the government has now limited free access. Based on the notion that we all have strong immunity due to infections and previous vax. So it’s basically relying on infections to protect people 😣 - huh?

Never underestimate the impact of a small act of kindness. Wear a mask. Donate to a food bank. Give to a community library. Deliver supplies to a disabled or elderly neighbour. Plant a garden. There are things you can do to help, and every act of kindness is resistance.

Nice new report that includes this lovely little bit: by 2035 we could erase 100% of Hormuz oil and ~1,000% of Hormuz gas by switching to clean tech, EVs, energy efficiency etc. www.energy-transitions.org/wp-content/u...
Measures such as electric vehicles, renewable electricity, heating electrification, sustainable fuels and energy productivity could cut global oil demand 16–20% (displacing 82–110% of Hormuz flows) and gas demand 26–34% by 2035, reducing dependency on the Hormuz route.
