Surrounding fanart seems to have that covered

Finally added the fire garf to the cork board and growing collection of garfs

Yeah, it's very feel-good, but idk if it'll stick in my head like Hosoda at his peak

I ain't watching Scarlet (lol), so I guess the only things left are to watch Hosoda's non-Digimon Toei stuff

000

Watched Mirai. I think Hosoda's other movies made me think this would be more uh... grand? Reminded me of those Looney Tunes episodes with the boy that would just use his imagination to play with knights and stuff. Got the vision, but I feel like they could have pushed the concept further.

The exchange during this scene is great. Classic boomer mentality even in the 90s.

Heffer's grandma: I like it here. It's warm.

Green goblin for @whoisrico.bsky.social ‘s #pouchtober. Figured I’ll try to do some ‘tobers by limiting myself to 5 mins or less. PaperMate flair pen.

Since the previous illustration was more of an extreme perspective, wanted to try another of Manang in general- she's fun to draw! Check out Forgotten Island- it's out in theaters now~ 👀👁‍🗨

Was thinking I could just go back to an old script and touch it up but uh... yeah, I wanna overhaul it. Yassify these ugly words and sentence structure.

It's Filipino-American history month, nobody's allowed to say the movie Hook sucks or else you're racist.

Netflix has made me very "precise" in choosing what to watch on it, rather than just trying a lot of things. I now lean more toward one and done Japanese shows, the occasional movie, and just some legacy stuff outside of the anime. I mostly keep it for the anime and JDramas now.

Remember Weepuls? Those little pom-pom creatures with the sticky feet that used to turn up everywhere with no rhyme or reason? Well, they came in Halloween styles, too! 🎃

Why do the 20 second gag ranger suits in Scrubs look better than a good number of actual ranger suits?

The second Pixar remales Toy Story 1 with modern CG and they inevitably mention AI will be used, this post will age like fine wine.

Chris Beveridge @chrisbeveridge.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

The second Gen AI was being framed as an art tool, it dod get me thinking about how much a "tool" is allowed to help in art. CG assets have become a norm for stuff like background and overall object assistance in manga, so is that bad? How much CG assets can a mangaka be allowed to get away with?

With the Crunchyroll version having just the top and bottom, it basically hollows out so much of the hobby for a lot of people. Feels very American right now
