Doug Ford is a loser.
Interior of Toronto Union Station with digital GO Transit departure boards showing Lakeshore West and Lakeshore East train services. Directional signs point toward the subway and streetcars, trains to Pearson, shops and restaurants, taxis, and elevators.

Maybe Metrolinx dumping DB was not 100% a bad idea? They are not terribly good at running trains. delaybahn.com/rangliste
Infographic comparing European train punctuality. The Netherlands ranks first at 94.7%, Switzerland second at 94.5%, France third at 80.3%, Austria fourth at 71.8%, Italy fifth at 60.5%, and Germany sixth at 49.7%. Each panel shows the average delay and percentage of cancelled trains, with a map illustrating the countries and their reported punctuality.

The money for the military buildup and support to the upcoming wave of unemployed from the war has to come from somewhere…

AF/KLM tend not to offer the long haul on WS on codeshare. They will do the short haul, yes. But I would if I see it.

Yea. I would be flying them tbh if they would just join SkyTeam. I get spendable points now but no status points. I have heard good things about their business class—hopefully sometime soon I can try them.

Buried in the service updates for the Stouffville line is this line: “These interim (service cut) measures are expected to continue until spring 2027.”

Yea. The purposely bad design didn’t force the EU to back down, so they actually decided to implement a decent design. God I miss Europe.

21 minutes from stopping at the gate to opening the front door. Better than the full flight and cabin crew fuming that they had no idea how they were getting to the hotel.

Months in Porter Airlines has yet to figure out how to operate into YHU (Montreal Met). 10 minutes to attach the jet bridge, FIDS with no/wrong gate info, and Denmark prices for food in-terminal. Not impressive at all.

Yea. I use my Mac.com address for that—mostly the throw away addresses it makes. Otherwise a domain costs $15 so have a few I use contextually.

Neither are the markets, generally.

I moved my domain over. Hate having my email address associated to any provider. In the end they are commodities.

No cheating. Share the last (good) photo of the sky from your camera roll.
Railway tracks curve through dense green vegetation beneath a series of tall steel electrical transmission towers and overhead power lines, with a partly cloudy blue sky above. A few buildings are visible beyond the trees.

It took me forever to make 2+2=4 on the Island Airport jet thing: the airport terminal is set up for front door boarding. When the Dash-8s (which are out of production) there are no comparable turboprops on the market—only jets.
