Daniel Corndog @cyclonus11.bsky.social · 26/08/2026They don't come in threes. That's purely psychological. Two could die tomorrow, and people would move the proverbial goalposts to make it fit. Sam Neill and Hayden Panettiere just happened, so that's four. Also, the grim reaper can eat shit. 021
Daniel Corndog @cyclonus11.bsky.social · 18/08/2026That same school wanted a new jumbotron for the high school football stadium, and that bond passed with flying colors. Priorities are all screwed up. 000
Daniel Corndog @cyclonus11.bsky.social · 18/08/2026Having said that, I agree that funding is a real issue. The college I studied theatre at no longer has a theatre program, replaced by "trade" programs. It also hits STEM: a local high school had science labs badly in need of repair. A bond measure to address it failed. 101
Daniel Corndog @cyclonus11.bsky.social · 18/08/2026What I'm getting at is that students who excel at STEM need higher knowledge. Students who excel at performing need a stage. 100
Daniel Corndog @cyclonus11.bsky.social · 18/08/2026You're lumping math together with other things. Kids who excel at math are not kids who excel at performing. School plays or films are not the same as limitations in knowledge in STEM fields. One provides an outlet for creativity, while the other is limited in actual information and the kids want to 100
Daniel Corndog @cyclonus11.bsky.social · 18/08/2026How do you know they'll get bored and quit? Seems like speculation, unless you have personal experience. Also, there are more educational opportunities besides public school plays; private teaching, dedicated conservatories, etc. AI is already theft and exploitation. That is a non-option, IMHO. 100
Daniel Corndog @cyclonus11.bsky.social · 18/08/2026Replacing them with AI *is* excluding them, though. There are plenty of opportunities in education to keep them engaged with their talents until they're old enough to make their own decisions. 100

Daniel Corndog @cyclonus11.bsky.social · 06/07/2026And do they go after the One Wish Willow company now knowing that it's real, and humans don't have the capacity to handle such power? Do they recruit others who had bad experiences? Does it become a supernatural action-thriller? 100
Daniel Corndog @cyclonus11.bsky.social · 06/07/2026What if Nikki wished that Baron's wish never happened, and that they all appeared back before the wish was made, but with all of their memories in tact? How does Baron atone for is evil actions? Or does he? 100
Daniel Corndog @cyclonus11.bsky.social · 06/07/2026Suddenly, we see that Nikki gets that "What the fuck??" look as if she just appeared in her own body. She's good at this! Then she turns around and runs to the car, screaming "DO NOT TOUCH THAT!!" 100
Daniel Corndog @cyclonus11.bsky.social · 06/07/2026Now we're back to the drop-off scene, where Baron is retrieving the One Wish Willow. Except now, we cut to Nikki's face as she's standing in front of the door. She's very conflicted and sad about something. Note that in Obsession, you only hear the door open and close once; she never went inside! 100
Daniel Corndog @cyclonus11.bsky.social · 06/07/2026She changes her mind and has an idea. She instead drives to her house and goes inside. A bit of time passes, then you hear "snap". 100
Daniel Corndog @cyclonus11.bsky.social · 06/07/2026She finds Sarah's letter and reads it. She has another breakdown. Then she puts the car in reverse to back out of the driveway, and the remaining One Wish Willow rolls forward on the floorboard. Nikki sees it. 100
Daniel Corndog @cyclonus11.bsky.social · 06/07/2026One possible scenario: At one point, Nikki is going to have to come to. I think she makes the decision to drive to the hospital to turn herself in, because the situation appears pretty inescapable and she has injuries. She takes Baron's car keys and gets in his car. 100
Daniel Corndog @cyclonus11.bsky.social · 06/07/2026That's when the messages started appearing: the "NOT ME" on the photo, the "IT'S NOT ME!" that was screamed three times at the party that absolutely NO ONE in the room picked up on except the lead dipshit who already knows, and the nighttime cry for help directed at Baron. 100
Daniel Corndog @cyclonus11.bsky.social · 06/07/2026The Real Nikki showed that she was a fighter. She really started battling Impostor Nikki after the r*pe scene; that's when all of the odd movements and super scary stuff began. That's when she'd had enough. 100
Daniel Corndog @cyclonus11.bsky.social · 06/07/2026There are 3 things that give sequel possibilities: • Real Nikki survives, albeit in a very, very bad situation • The One Wish Willow that Baron tried to break but couldn't is still on the passenger side floorboard of his car • Real Nikki did not make a wish on the One Wish Willow: the Impostor did! 100
Daniel Corndog @cyclonus11.bsky.social · 06/07/2026MAJOR #OBSESSION SPOILERS BELOW It sounds like Curry Barker is looking to squash any idea of a sequel involving any of the original characters, which is very unfortunate since there's a MAJOR outlet for one in the film. 100
