iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

Also also, for the dream team, I'm gonna shiny hunt either a Sandile or a Litwick, since their final forms have good-looking shinies.

Anyway, Team Plasma preaches liberation and denounces Pokemon suffering in their Poke Balls, while making a Munna suffer. Do they also kick their own liberated Pokemon whether they succeed or fail?

And for the former, I was a slacker, using a Swanna, Simisage, Swoobat, and Eelektross, all underleveled, while stubbornly using the Japanese names. I guess you could say I never really took Gen 5 seriously until now.

I've used Samurott before in my original Black and Black 2 runs from 13 years ago, but we don't talk about the latter, since I also used downloaded GTS 'mons for various members of my party.

The dream team's planned to be Samurott, Stoutland, Chandelure, Ferrothorn, Krookodile, and Galvantula. I want to have my personal Galvantula redemption run in Black 1, since I've used it before, but never brought it to the final boss.

The Patrat line and I just aren't made for each other, I guess.

I caught a shiny Patrat named BLU Jenny one time... And I forgot to save before I ragequit from a training session. RIP BLU Jenny, I guess. Now I gotta go shiny hunt for a dream team member to make up for this fucking heresy.

I see that certain Aniplex titles are coming to MediaOCD. Please let this mean all of the Madoka franchise is coming. And please let them have the upcoming home video release of Walpurgisnacht Rising.

000

It's got the old Warner Home Video logo, so sometime before early 2017.

Going back to the generation I surprisingly have the least nostalgia for and starting up Black 1. Got an Oshawott and named him Jack.

I might hack in the event distributions for Diamond, Platinum, and HeartGold, or I might download from the custom servers for each game, assuming I have a way to set up a WEP connection. Either way, I'm not spending all my money on event cartridges, and there's currently no way to go back in time.

Skydance now owns Nick, Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, Comedy Central, and MTV, effectively ending US TV animation as we know it. Countless jobs will be lost, and fewer new shows will be created. An apocalyptic scenario for cartoons, yet it's maybe the 5th-worst thing about the Paramount-WB merger!

332741908

Also also, the Warners-Paramount merger is being finalized tomorrow, which means both Animaniacs and the Transformers movies will now be under the same umbrella. You think that makes me happy? It doesn't, because the Ellisons want to bring CNN to heel.

000

Maybe sometime before the Pokemon Bank closes, I'll revisit Black and Black 2 back-to-back and transfer both teams I'll use to whatever of the latest generations each member is available in.

100

Also, I don't really have much nostalgia for Gen 5. All I remember is that I used the Japanese names for my initial playthrough of Black, downloaded GTS Pokemon for my Black 2 run, and finally settled on a final team with a type overlap of Ground, Ice, and Dragon for said run.

100

Despite all this, I'm not sure if I want to revisit HGSS, mainly because of the shitty level curve. At present, I only have one Pokewalker on hand, and I can't find my childhood one, so no funny business with the one I have since I wanna use it in my copy of HeartGold.

Always wanted SoulSilver, so I ordered a Japanese copy on eBay because Japanese copies of Pokemon games are generally cheaper than the US and European releases.

Never mind, you can't breed Samurott with anything that knows Sacred Sword. Whoever came up with that idea is a real cocksucker. Who sucks cock.

Also, you can catch Hisuian Samurott in the Safari Zone in the beach area after it's been unlocked. If not for the fact I picked Meowscarada and caught another Dark-type, I would've totally used it, be it from here or as an Oshawott from the starter gacha in Goldenrod.
