In today's session of Soulgold, I beat Clair for the Rising Badge. I also got some traded Pokemon along the way, those being a Rotom and Meltan. And I just found out Tyranitar can learn Surf.

"Didn't you say, 'Man, you think I'm gonna put myself through that again?' regarding shiny-hunting?" Well, yeah, and I'm only doing this for Soulgold because the shiny odds are significantly higher than in the official games, being a 1/256 chance as opposed to 1/4096 (or 1/8192 in the old days).

Nothing much happened in Soulgold, other than getting a Rotom to turn into Rotom Wash, thus making it Rikelec and Cool Ice combined, with a Ground immunity to top it off.

Pokemon drawings I made for a friend :) #Pokemon #PokemonArt #Lurantis #Flygon

A mostly lineless drawing of the pokemon Lurantis and Flygon! They are both in fairly neutral poses, and are their standard colors. The background is made up of diagonal pink and green stripes.

Nothing much happened in today's Soulgold session, other than catching a shiny Trapinch. In an act of heresy, I also sold my Ability Patch so I could afford enough coins for the starter gacha. Took me a while until I eventually got Piplup.

Did the remainder of the Team Rocket plotline in Soulgold, as well as beat Pryce for his badge. I also produced enough Exp. Candies L during my level-grinding sessions to level up Megaempress past the level cap and evolve her just in time into a Tyranitar.

Got a shiny Electrike this afternoon in Soulgold after a chain of 80 or so, and I named it Rikelec and evolved it into a Manectric. All that effort just for another glass cannon? At least it's not a physical attacker this time.

In today's session of Soulgold, I encountered and caught two shinies in a row: a Galarian Ponyta named Sparkle and a Hisuian Growlithe named Seesar Rex. I also decided to try my hand at DexNav shiny hunting for Electrike, but so far, nothing's come of it. Is this where my shiny luck runs out?

000

Cure Yuusha @cureyuusha.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

Screw Hisuian Growlithe, I'm gonna shiny hunt for an Electrike. It was the first shiny I ever found and caught, in Emerald, so it's only fair I reclaim him after I lost him in my first copy of Diamond that was stolen.

if it's made using claude, it didn't happen. applies to any decomps or recomps. if you used ai to make it then it might as well not exist

I want to use one of my two consecutive shinies from the Safari Zone in Soulgold, that being Hisuian Growlithe, but that would require me to replace my Pupitar and Ceruledge. Should I give Arcanine-H a shot?

We still doing the Skywalker Saga shit again? I thought we were gonna have a new saga with episode X. Something like, I dunno, the New Jedi Order Saga.

In today's Soulgold session, I beat Chuck and Jasmine for their respective badges and acquired a new Pokemon. I also took my Clefairy out of the day care, used the PokeNav to look for wild Clefairy with Moon Stones, and evolved her once I found one.

With the exception of James Rolfe, 9 times out of 10 anyone who associates with Doug Walker will turn out to be a bad person. And OneyPlays has been exposed as one of these people.

Beat Morty for the Fog Badge and trained up one of my two new Charcadet some more in Soulgold. The exact reason I wanted another Zero (as evidenced by Zero-Two) was because the first Zero had a Bold nature, and it sucked.

Soulgold ramble time. I said I'd totally use a shiny, but is Machamp even that great? I played Diglett Pinball so many times just to get enough coins for a Linking Cord, and a new and improved Johto with everything up to gen 9 must be hell for Bruce.
