I'm so pissed off. I had to unfollow my favourite account because they use AI in EVERYTHING they do. What's worse is, they're SCIENTISTS whose whole thing is empathy and yet they continue to harm the environment and use stollen content AI models to create silly little videos.

This flag flew over my unit's compound in Afghanistan. We flew a new flag every day. The flags were exchanged as gifts to agencies we worked with. During the transition to a new location, one was left up. 11 years ago, I folded it, and put it away. This is the first time I've flown this flag.

I feel like some people don't quite understand how alt text works. Imagine you have a picture of a cat. Just saying "image of a cat" doesn't tell you anything about it. What colour is it? What is it doing? Show people with words. You might not need it but someone else does.
