I didn't get enough storage space or surfaces so now the cooking equipment is stacked high and precariously. This feels like a freshly-moved-in flat and I'm so into it

Dollhouse upstairs has a rug and rocking chair. Downstairs has a welcome mat, broom, woodfire stove, a table and chairs piled high with cooking pots and baking trays.

Celtic languages are still closer-related to PIE than Romantic languages. It makes me wonder if there's an ancient link to a lost language where we've kept certain common words and pronunciations

It does, and another fun fact about modern Lithuanian is that it's supposedly the closest modern language to Proto-Indo-European (PIE), thought to be linked to ancient migration routes into Europe travelling south of the Caucasus.
