We all know the first step handling rape/sexual assault is to change the level of offenses. RAPE SHOULD BE ON A PAR WITH MURDER. We require strict laws that will help protect all vulnerable people. We need CCTV cameras like the UK. Otherwise we'll have done NOTHING.

I want to give this more thought in order to offer better solutions, but I am going to be introducing a movement—as yet unnamed—to push for these changes. I'm not trying to one-up the #MeToo movement at all—I'm inspired and was saved by it. But we have to shift into a higher gear.
