I hate gay Halloween, what do you mean you're Cristal Connors' MS Paint bra from the VH1 edit of Showgirls?

A still from the television edit of the 1995 camp classic Showgirls of Nomi Malone (Elizabeth Berkeley) about to push Cristal Connors (Gina Gershon) down the stairs. Both of their chests are censored with comically inept "bras" that look as if they were created using the Microsoft Paint program.

1979 Sleeping Beauty reissue when Maleficent turned into a dragon. Absolutely terrified little me and gave me nightmares for weeks.

Siouxsie realized if she lies on the top tier of the cat tree, we can see eye-to-eye. We do this at least once a day now. ❤️ #Caturday

Having a still from an 80s broadcast TV show labeled by Bluesky moderation as "Graphic Media" is peak "LOL what are we doing here folks?" Standards and practices in the 70s and 80s were FAR more stringent than today.

Avengers: Doomsday reportedly has at least 6 major deaths. It's described as one of the darkest movies ever made.

A still from the 80s television series Dynasty of season 5's infamous "Moldavian Massacre" finale in which all the show's characters lie lifeless after a military coup storms into the wedding of Prince Adam and Amanda Carrington and shoots everyone in sight.

That is Mia McKenna-Bruce in that still. Anyone who's seen How To Have Sex would know that and would know that is from a devastating scene. All the comments about her appearance...if you knew the context of that scene you'd probably sit down and be quiet.

The face when I told Siouxsie there wasn't a single like on her #Caturday picture yesterday. "I will not be ignored, Dan."

9 defining movies. My sense of humor (What's Up Doc?, Postcards From The Edge, Valley Of The Dolls); my view of love, romance, and desire (Singin' In The Rain, The Umbrellas Of Cherbourg, Maurice); and films that started or cemented lifelong obsessions (TESB, Rear Window, Out Of The Past).

Remember when the price of cable started going up and it turned out to have been because of overpriced sports packages? I wonder if that's what's happening with streaming since they've started including sports.

Currently in season 3 of Lou Grant and it's amazing how applicable this show is to our present moment. Ethics in journalism, corporate intrusion in media, backlash to a period of social progress, immigration, the environment, and wildfires. Unavailable on streaming, but well worth tracking down.

The statistics from the other shows that were more heavily promoted and got second season renewals while RoD bypassed all of them in ratings/performance is just maddening. RoD bypassed their str8 Heated Rivalry (while greenlit before HR's success, still a no thx). Ugh. deadline.com/2026/09/ride...

Trying to find some pics of Matt Kalil because of the "two coke cans" remark and image search (or some cheeky editor) seems to understand the area of focus. 😂

A screenshot of a photo accompanying an article from Google image search results.
