Grandma grew up in the Great Depression and was just like that. And yeah, that's just one of the purposes of dish rags, isn't it? Is that not normal? She did have paper towels too. Now I'm confused, lol.

I do like pomegranate but have never bought the actual fruit. I'll add one to my shopping list, thank you! I used to get kumquats and liked those but that was a long time ago in a state far, far away.

Yup, it's the bromelain that gets out there and starts eating your tongue. However, it is fantastic for digestion and is often used in digestive enzymes.
