We've reached the apathy portion of the Sounders downfall. I didn't even bother to watch the highlights. I'm on holiday but the apple deal makes it incredibly easy to watch or catch up on and I just can't be bothered. I am still wearing my Sounders hat while riding around the lake though.

I'm watching on BBC in the Netherlands and apparently NOS (Dutch channel 1) is still about 8 seconds ahead as I heard the cheers from my local pub before the goal went in.

It feels like there's no way all four favorites go through the the semi-finals and we already have Spain and France through. That leaves England v Norway and Argentina v Switzerland. Norway are by far the best underdog, but Argentina are the playing the worst of the favs. England and the Swiss today

I have thought about it and I have the best NBA to Tour de France analogy for middle aged dudes now into cycling that loved NBA in the 90's Pogacar is Michael Jordan in 1992 and Vingegaard is Drexler. One is on his way to being the GOAT and the other is about to be broken by the rivalry. #TdF

Okay, so after thinking about it all day I have some thoughts on the #USMNT World Cup. First, the Paraguay game was the best we have ever played. I've been watching the USA since 1990 and it's essentially been my team. We had no MLS, they didn't come to my city until 2009, the USA was MY team.
