Yeah, the only new information is credited to one (1) "industry insider" in two paragraphs, including the conclusion. Everything else is links to earlier and already known stories like 60 Minutes resignations and Tony Dokupil being ratings poison. Insider got themselves a nice headline, though.

Dashed off thought on my way to work, but check out belief in corporal punishment as a proxy for violence in the home. Within the lifetimes of today's middle age people hitting your kids as a natural part of parenting went from a majority to a distinct minority and that stuff lasts a lifetime.
