We’ll be weighing everything we harvest on the day to see how many meals we’ve grown and how much CO2 we’ve saved compared to supermarket produce! 🙂

For the last 20+ years, this 200y/o Georgian house has had ALL its grass cut regularly. Since moving in at the end of March, I’ve now chosen my paths & have started the long journey of turning this 1 acre plot into a haven for #wildlife. Here’s to a #NoMowSummer 💚

We also added hoverflies and butterflies/moths to make it more pollinators rather than bees. @katebradbury.bsky.social @davegoulson.bsky.social @brigitstrawbridge.bsky.social @bumblebeetrust.bsky.social @bbka.org.uk @cathhodsman.bsky.social

Welcome to Yorkshire’s newest native #woodland! 😁 A 2.5 acre plot of 500 trees, planted specifically for #wildlife & to extend an existing ancient woodland. My back is now very relieved! 😆 #NorthYorkshire

Wow! At least 20 new street trees going in outside our community garden; something we’ve long lobbied for. Brilliant.
