An incredibly important, immaculately researched, & beautifully written book by the best there is. Truly a must-read for anyone who cares about school choice, education policy, and the ongoing barriers that impede all children’s fair access to supportive & enriching schools.

This is why all districts should be training educators on students’ and families’ rights and protocols for responding if/when ICE attempts to enter a school building. Well done CPS for preparing school leaders for dealing with the terrible state we’re in right now.

RTI is hiring a Quantitative Equity Research Analyst (typically PhD or MA+exp) to work on projects involving environmental justice, health equity, community safety, and/or equitable education systems. Position can be fully remote and salary range is $98k-$119k. careers.rti.org/jobs/11494?l...
RTI’s Transformative Research Unit for Equity (TRUE) is focused on reimagining traditional research practices and creating systems that advance racial equity and social justice. We build evidence through research and evaluation strategies to enable systems to become more equitable (i.e., health systems, community-systems and infrastructure, educational systems). We take an intersectional approach to advancing equity and social justice, meaning we focus on the ways in which systems of oppression are interdependent or overlap to create unique dynamics and effects.

TRUE has an immediate opening for a Quantitative Equity Research Analyst. TRUE’s research portfolio is focused on four areas 1) Environmental Justice and Infrastructure Equity, 2) Health Equity, 3) Community Safety and Healing, and 4) Equitable Education systems. The quantitative equity research analyst will be part of a growing team that leads and supports projects across all focus areas.
