Excerpts from the tremendous public service & public resource that is the HANSON DOSSIER - the "complete public accountability record of Pauline Hanson. Drawn from court judgments, parliamentary records, AEC data, and verified journalism" Share it & keep it handy‼️ 👉 thehansonrecord.com
Excerpt from the HANSON DOSSIER

Senator Hanson had a tendency to make racist, discriminatory, hateful, derogatory and Islamophobic statements, particularly in relation to persons of colour, migrants to Australia and Muslims. She was found to be an argumentative witness who would say anything which came to mind if she felt it would suit her at the time. - Justice Angus Stewart, Federal Court of Australia - Faruqi v Hanson, November 2024.
This is a formal judicial finding made after hearing Hanson testify under oath. It is not a political opinion. It is the considered judgment of an Australian Federal Court judge.Excerpt from a section titled The Verdict in the HANSON DOSSIER

Pauline Hanson has spent 30 years telling Australians she is one of them. A battler. A plain-speaker. A politician who cuts through the rubbish and fights for ordinary people against a self-serving political class and the wealthy elites who have rigged the system. That story does not match what she has actually done.

She has been found guilty of racial discrimination by the Federal Court of Australia. She has been suspended from the Senate and censured 55 votes to 5. Her senior staff were caught on hidden camera trying to sell Australia's gun laws to American lobbyists for up to $20 million. She personally cast doubt on the Port Arthur massacre on hidden camera. She has accepted a $2 million plane from Australia's richest billionaire and undisclosed jet flights from that same billionaire. She billed taxpayers to attend that billionaire's fundraising events on a luxury cruise ship. She placed her daughter in a $150,000 taxpayer-funded job and banned the journalist who asked about it from all future access. She attended just 12 per cent of Senate estimates hearings over her career while being paid a full senator's salary. She promoted vaccine misinformation linking vaccines to autism and cancer. She published a book claiming Aboriginal women ate their babies to "demonstrate savagery" and used it to raise funds for her party.Excerpt from a section titled The Verdict in the HANSON DOSSIER cont'd

While doing all of that, she has voted against wage increases for workers, against childcare funding for families, against housing affordability policies, against public school funding, against renewable energy, against renters' rights, against COVID vaccine urgency as Australians were dying in aged care, and against nearly every social safety net mechanism that would actually help the working-class Australians she claims to represent.

She changed her party's constitution in 2017 to give herself lifetime leadership and the sole right to choose her own successor, making One Nation constitutionally indistinguishable from a personal fiefdom. Seven senators have quit or been expelled from the party since 2016. The party founded on anti-establishment populism is now bankrolled by a mining billionaire worth tens of billions of dollars, flying on her private jet and attending her fundraisers on a luxury cruise ship.

The people who pay the price for Pauline Hanson's political career are the ordinary Australians she claims to represent. The record is public. The choice is yours.Excerpt from the HANSON DOSSIER

Table comparing the policy position of One Nation, Labor, Coalition and the Greens on 13 policies relating to: Climate Science, Gun Laws, Worker Pay Rises, ABC and SBS, Renewable Energy, Housing Affordability, Childcare, Public School Funding, Abortion Rights, UN Membership, Multiculturalism, Trans Healthcare, and Press Freedom

[On every single one, One Nation has a regressive, frequently far-right radical stance]

# Surveillance Considered Harmful There is an interesting detail emerging from the attempted terrorist attack on Flydubai Flight 1073. According to current reports, the co-pilot had already been barred from flying by Oman Air because of concerns about extremist views. Yet somehow he ended up flying for Flydubai. And somehow an Omani citizen, from a country whose pilots are not allowed to fly into Israel, ended up in the cockpit of a flight to Tel Aviv (Source: https://apnews.com/article/cf64a228799e6e788e834cac2a489ab2). This happened in a region containing some of the most heavily surveilled societies on the planet. Saudi Arabia, where the aircraft eventually landed, is a particularly extreme example: internet activity, social media and private communications are subject to extensive state surveillance (Source: https://freedomhouse.org/country/saudi-arabia/freedom-net/2025). Other Gulf states are not far behind in the scale and reach of their surveillance. And yet here we are. This points to a more fundamental problem with surveillance as a weapon against terrorism. What does a terrorist actually want? *Physical destruction is only the means. The real target is psychological: fear, distrust, disruption and ultimately the fragmentation of society. A terrorist cannot destroy a society through physical violence alone. But it may be sufficient to make that society afraid enough to start damaging itself.* And this is where mass surveillance becomes dangerously counterproductive. A functioning society depends on trust: trust between citizens, trust in institutions, and the assumption that most people around us are not our enemies. Terrorism attacks exactly that trust. Mass surveillance does, too. It tells everyone that everyone is potentially suspicious. It normalizes observation, suspicion and self-censorship. In trying to make society more resilient against individual terrorists, we risk weakening the very social cohesion that makes a society resilient in the first place. The irony of Flight 1073 is therefore hard to miss. **We have built extraordinarily powerful machinery for watching millions of ordinary people, while apparently failing at the much more mundane task of asking why a pilot previously considered an extremism risk was sitting in the cockpit of an airliner bound for Israel.** Surveillance considered harmful. Not merely because it invades privacy. But because it can fail even at the trivial things while quietly weakening the society it was supposed to protect.

This is a major blow to the open web! For as long as I can remember, Reddit has embraced RSS feeds and public API access to users, apps, and developers, allowing the site to thrive. Who is Jaimie Johnstone, and why is an obviously racist clown being given oxygen by SBS: www.sbs.com.au/news/article/sbs-exa…
Screenshot of an SBS article on Money Transfers, saying “A Money Transfer Australia report said $35 billion was sent from Australia as remittances in 2024, including nearly $7
billion to India.
"When someone earns that money in
Australia, but remits part of that portion
overseas, that portion is not being spent
hereẠỊpolitical commentator Jaimie
Johnstone said in a recent social media
post about the report.
"That money is not going to an Australian
cafe or restaurant. It's not being spent with
an Australian tradie, it's not being used to
purchase Australian products, not in an
Australian shop, not circulating within an
Australian household.
"And if we're going to have a serious
national conversation about immigration,
surely capital flowing out of our domestic
economy should be part of that
conversation too.”Another screenshot of the same SBS article, where the basis of Johnstone’s claims are debunked by an ANU RLEconomics Professor, saying “But Ryan Edwards, an associate economics
professor at the Australian National
University, says we should be sceptical of
these numbers.
"We don't really measure money going out
very well... those numbers are actually
much softer," he said.
Even if those estimates were correct, "that
would still be under 1 per cent of our
economy" and tax had already been paid on
the income.
He noted the argument against remittances
didn't account for the benefits migrants
bring.”

There’s claims circulating the internet that this product with an ‘interesting’ shape is being sold at Kmart in Australia. It’s a fake - not on companies’ website or official channels; shelf tag and font are wrong; their product codes are always 8 digits; low quality image & metadata scrubbed.
Image claiming to be a photo of a product, taken in an Australian Kmart store. Purporting to be from their home brand Anko, the product is a silver-coloured Personal Key Keeper, which is shaped like a butt plug. The photo claims to show the product in a box, that is seemingly well oversized for the claimed object inside it - which is one of many inconsistencies that immediately debunk this as a fake.

Oh Transperth, I’m a nerd. You better believe I have, and use, a shortcut for reporting unjustifiable late departures. A Bus Operations Employee, whose primary job is to drive on-time departures and stand management, will no doubt be getting a talking to.
Screenshot of an email I’ve sent to Transperth Enquiries this morning, about an unjustified late bus departure.

Route: 502
Bus/Carriage/Vehicle number: 3090
Location: Stop 23699; Bill Creek Interchange
Bateman WA 6150
Australia
Location GPS Coordinates: -32.04675699506543,
115.8539192226323 ()
Scheduled departure time: 18 Sep 2026 at 07:48
Actual departure time: 7:52:48 am
Observed reason for late departure:
A Female Transperth Bus Operations Employee decided to hold up the bus for three minutes by engaging in a social conversation - that had no bearing or relevance to the route, operations, or other matters which would
justify or support a delayed departure (was within earshot of the entire conversation, which included a discussion around leave balances). Bus was also already late to stand (not arriving until after departure time), which further impacted on time departure due to
60+ passengers boarding.
